Day 1 Split arrival – Trogir, Sunday
Upon arrival to Split Airport, welcome by your tour escort and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Split – Šibenik – NP Krka – Split, Monday
Departure towards Trogir, our fi rst Game of Thrones filming location. Built on an island squeezed between the mainland and the island of Čiovo, the picturesque UNESCO’s historic city of Trogir represented the trading harbor of Qarth, ”the greatest city that ever was or will be”. Continuation to Šibenik and visit of its old town and St. James Cathedral, UNESCO’s World Heritage Site, that was used for the mysterious face changing House of Black and White in Braavos where Arya arrives looking for Jaqen H’ghar. Traditional lunch in Šibenik hinterland. Visit of Krka National Park, that hides one of Europe’s most beautiful waterfalls – Skradinski Buk. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Split – Klis – Split, Tuesday
In the morning sightseeing tour of the old town of Split with the entrance to Diocletian’s cellars – the substructures of the 1700-year-old Diocletian’s Palace where Daenerys kept and trained her dragons. This is also the place where the slaves debated joining Daenerys’s rebellion against the Masters of Meereen and the site of her throne room. Lunch and free time. In late afternoon, visit of Klis fortress, the city of Meereen. The fortress was the heart of medieval Croatia and offers excellent views of Split. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4 Split – Ston – Dubrovnik, Wednesday
Departure towards the south of Dalmatia along the Riviera of Makarska where Daenarys spends time with her dragons and finds a slave child nailed to a cross pointing the way to Meereen. Continuation towards the picturesque town of Ston, one of the locations used for the Seven Kingdoms capital. Lunch. Visit of the walls of Ston, the longest walls in Europe and continuation to Trsteno Arboretum, renaissance summer residence that served as a set palace for High garden in the Red Keep and continuation to main filming location of the Capital of the Seven Kingdoms – Dubrovnik. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Dubrovnik, Thursday
Visit of the King’s Landing, the pearl of Adriatic – Dubrovnik. The old town of Dubrovnik has been on UNESCO’s World Heritage list since 1979 and has one of the best preserved medieval walls in the world. Our local guide will take you for a historic walk along its walls and make stop in front of the Rector’s Palace, the main street of Stradun and St. Dominik’s Street where the market scenes in King’s Landing have been filmed. Walk on the medieval wall until you get to the highest point where Minčeta fortress is situated, which represents the walls of the House of the Undying in Quarth. From the Pile gate you will be able to enjoy the prettiest views of Bokar and Lovrijenac Forts. Lunch. Free time in the aft ernoon. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 Dubrovnik – Lokrum – Dubrovnik, Friday
Discovery of Lokrum Island, which was used for the scenes of the city of Quarth. Walk around the Island and up to the Fort Royal which off ers the breathtaking views of Dubrovnik. Free time for a stroll or swim in the small lake called Mrtvo More (Dead Sea). Lunch on the island. Return to Dubrovnik, free time and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7 Dubrovnik – Korčula – Split, Saturday
Heading back to Split by passing along the peninsula of Pelješac, well-known for its wine production and discovering the beautiful town of Korčula, ‘Little Dubrovnik’. Due to its strategic location in this part of the Adriatic, Korčula Old Town was surrounded by high walls and towers from its early beginnings. Large sequences of defensive walls structures still dominate the Old Town and can be seen on several places around it, particularly impressive when approached from the sea from the north and eastern side of the town. The guide will take you around the Old Town before visiting St. Marc’s Cathedral, built in Gothic- Renaissance style. Lunch. Transfer to Orebić by small boats and continuation towards Trpanj, from where we will take ferry to the mainland. Continuation to the region of Split. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 Split departure, Sunday
Breakfast at the hotel and free time until transfer to the airport.
