WEDNESDAY: ARRIVAL VENICE (D)

Pick up at Tronchetto bus station or at the Venice airports (Marco Polo or Treviso). Transfer to Opatija on the Croatian riviera. Overnight in Opatija. 

THURSDAY: OPATIJA WALKING TOUR (B)
Morning guided tour of Opatija, once the summer and winter resort of 19th Century elite Wilhelm II, Franz Josef, Gustav Mahler, and Isadora Duncan. Overnight in Opatija. 

FRIDAY: OPATIJA – PLITVICE LAKES – SPLIT (B)
Morning departure towards the spectacular Plitvice National Park, consisting of 16 lakes, connected with a series of waterfalls. 3 hour walk in this wonderful environment enjoying a boat ride on the emerald green Kozjak Lake and walk back to the entrance. Drive to Split for overnight.

SATURDAY: SPLIT (B)
Morning guided tour of Split and its famous Diocletian palace. End of tour.

60 – 30 days prior to departure: Deposit + 10% of the tour rate
29 – 9  days prior to departure: Deposit + 25% of the tour rate
8 – 1 days  prior to departure: Deposit + 50% of the tour rate
0 and no show: 100% of the tour rate
